I Completed the BLOG HOP!!

So my final 2 projects are done!!! The first one is for http://spcolorcombos.blogspot.com/2009/09/are-you-ready-to-hop.html
and the challenge was to use certain colors in our project. Check out the site for the colors but basically it was the 2 browns from the leaves and the trunk, the orange, and the green! Hope you enjoy! (and I made this with my gypsy!!)

The final challenge I have been a little leery about, we had to use the title "Lets get down and dirty" which is cute for a kids page but I don't have any kids so I did not know what to do then I remembered how filthy I got when I went out to take some photos of the creek so I thought that would be the perfect memory to capture! The challenge was from http://creativitywithatwist.blogspot.com/2009/09/blog-hop_24.html

2 more down 2 to go (I miss counted before)

This blog hop is a lot of work but really fun to dig in deep to crafting for a week. I finished 2 more challenges and now it is bed time!

The first is for http://chirperchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/09/challenge-blog-owner-blog-hop.html. The challenge was to use the theme "sweet" to make a project with glitter and a stamp. So I made this great goody bag to fill with "sweet stuff." The image is stamped and then the candy(sweet) corn is filled in with stickles glitter! The bag was cut out using the cricut cartridge bag tags boxes and more, Hope you like it!

The second challenge is from http://scrapbooksnstuff.typepad.com/my_weblog/2009/09/are-you-ready-to-do-some-blog-hopping.html and we had to make a layout using there sketch. I am really happy with how this turned out because I tried to really make this sketch my own!

Blog hop 3 more down- 3 to go!

The first I completed is for http://practicalscrappers.blogspot.com/ They challenged to use die cuts on a project. Pretty simple so here is my page using 2 die cuts: the dog house and the dog

The second challenge I completed was a little more difficult we had to make a scrapbook page "Old School" meaning no cricut, cuttlebug, or other fancy scrapbooking tools of today. The only thing I question later is if the corner rounder is considered old school? Well you could have done that with scissors. As you can see I ripped the paper along a trace line with my hands, added vellum behind the photos and then cut with scissors to try and keep the lines straight. Then I rounded the corners and added stickers to embellish. O yeah and I pocked holes through the paper with a pen and added the ribbon it sorta worked but at the same time it is a little uneven with large holes so I think I will stick to my fancy tools:) Oh yeah it was for http://thecraftingpot.blogspot.com/2009/09/friday-sept-25th-blog-hop-challenges.html

The third challenge was from http://digital.sewmanycards.com/2009/09/24/join-us-for-a-blog-hop.aspx and we had to use that cute little horse with hello in a project. This was kind of difficult for me because I don't really have any markers and I hate coloring things in but I am proud of how it turned out!

Blog Hop

So this challenge is from http://whimsicalscrapsandbugs.blogspot.com/ and the goal was to make a candy gift bag pretty similar to the one on there site. I have not made one of these before but it was fun and is going to be a great gift for my co-workers for Halloween this year. The bag is from target and I used accent essentials for the black base embossed with the traffic jam folder, life is a beach for the letters, and doodle charms for the spider.

More Blog hop!

The challenge was to make a page about yourself and what color represents you, but to make it more of a challenge you had to scrap-lift from one of there design team member layouts. So I lifted Mette's layout and came up with this:

By the way I think this is the most amount of different adhesives I have ever used in one layout! I used 2 different pop dots, Zots dots, 3D Zots, Glue Stick, Zig Two way, and mono adhesive! All on one page! So I hope you enjoy!

Blog Hop #2

So I finnished two more challenge projects and I have to make sure to get them up as I go to get entered for all of the goodies!
The first challenge is for http://justbugginchallenges.blogspot.com/2009/09/join-us-for-blog-hop.html and the goal was to use any die cut as long as it was altered. The flower in the top corner of this page was cut from home accents with the cricut 2 of each size 1 1/2, 2, and 2 1/2. Then connected and inked so I double altered it! By the way I started this page for a different challenge and then changed my mind half way and decided to do this challenge (I try not to double dip because that is like cheating for prizes! Unless I have to which happens)

The second challenge is for http://scrapfit.blogspot.com/2009/09/2009-challenge-blog-owner-blog-hop.html and it is just for a happy fall card! Hope you enjoy and leave comments!

Felt Card

I made this card for a challenge for practicle scrapers. The challenge was to use felt and the only felt I had was the star ribbon so I made this card. I really love how it turned out I used pink patterned paper from a michaels paper pack the felt ribbon was from michaels dollar bin. I punched the bottom with a boarder punch from target and rounded the corners with a creative memories corner punch. Hope you enjoy!

Scrap and Stamp Saturday Challenge

This weeks challenge was to make a layout using green and blue. This paper is from a nursery pack that I got on clearance at michaels. The color is a little hard to see in this photo but the background is a deep green with the overlay being a pale blue. I also distressed the edges of the blue. These photos are from the strawberry hot springs in Steamboat Springs Colorado. If you ever get the chance GO it was so relaxing!!
